At Medtronic I would learn so much foundational stuff that would take me forward into my career as a UX/UI Professional. We did everything from web design, video productions, video editing, digital and social media marketing, internal web apps, print, and so much more… It was here that I became life long friends with an amazing digital and print artist and designer who showed me UX and UI, taught me photoshop and illustrator. I was a front-end developer and found my passion for the User’s experience and designing great looking products. I’ll never forget it and I’ll always be grateful for it. We did some big stuff like Back.com, and iScoliosis.com even watching surgeries and really learning about the users. We did a lot of projects and had a great time doing it! We also had a custom Content Management System (CMS) that we built out and worked in. By the end I would do a lot of the designing in Photoshop and then slice and code it into HTML and CSS in Macromedia Dreamweaver (now an Adobe CC product) and also did things in Flash Pro, Premiere Pro (along with other video editing software). We were a mighty team!
